RATES?? LABELS.

            In todays Typical Tuesday,
I noticed something well I noticed when it first started happening but now I realize what people are doing. The wcw's and TBH's and truth and Rates are going around. Now don't get me wrong most of them I don't even know what they mean. But the rates are pretty mean. It's not mean to say hey so and so we should hang out your super pretty but then they say rate: so and so. Giving them a score between one through 10. That is so wrong in so many levels. Giving one girl an 8.5 and your best friend a 9.5? I don't understand why there basically telling the person "your cool but not really cool. " You know what that says to me? LABELS. Please everyone stop labeling the world. Its not right. And numbers? Really? What if you rated your mom? Would she be better, or worse that your best friend? I don't know about you but there is absolutely  no number in the universe that describes my mom. I'm not trying to come out rude or offensive, I just don't get why we have to tell everyone what there worth. God loves us so so so much and just asks our best in return. There's no number for that. None. Nope. Anyway, people when you post these things do you ever think that you could be hurting someone? I wouldn't give anyone a 10 or a 1 they don't deserve to be labeled. And don't feel like if you don't ever get 'rates' that you're not cool or pretty or whatever they're propose is. You are just so much better than a dumb label!
I feel Heavenly Father wants me to tell you to be your best. "How do I be my best", you ask? Simple. I dare you to start a trend, whether its, the smile at one person they smile at another and so on, or the Nice posts with NO RATE, or simply sharing this with your friends. You could even start clothes trends such as modest shorts and shirts, or helping your family and friends (and yourself) stay away from bad shows. How? Say your at a friends house. "Let's watch TV." She says so you sit on the couch and she turns it to a show that talks about or has bad language or pornography in it. You could say, "Hey this show is pretty bad. Lets turn it." Or if your a little intimidated, then you could say, "Want to watch my favorite show? Its so and so." If she says no, try the first thing. "Hey this show is pretty bad. We should change it."
Another part of being your best is, service. You don't have to go to the old folks home and sweep or help the neighbor cross the street, but the very least you should do is hold a door open or complement someone. Yeah lets start a trend I dare you to post one good thing to ALL your friends on FB. Yes ALL. But remember, NO RATES!! if you will join me in this 'trend' than I promise you god will smile upon you. The next time your alone, pray. Its so easy. if you do this I know that you will feel happy inside.  HAVE FAITH FRIENDS!!
Remember, you are worth more than any number or label. You are the only you there is. You have a right to be proud of that. So be the best you can!! ;)

Individual worth

Today I realized, okay that's cheesy. I guess I was thinking about what to write in my blog today and I thought of the Young Women values of the church. (For non members, the values are some very special words or phrases we learn about. soon after leaning we all strive for these things. Praying a little harder searching a little better for answers) Any way, the value that really stood out to me was individual worth. Knowing about this value is super important. I am really petite and sometimes I struggle with body image especially since I have entered my teen years. But knowing that Heavenly Father loves me so much and wants me to know for myself that I am just exactly how I'm supposed to be, as long as I continue to follow in his footsteps. And try to be the best I can.
For some, it would seem nice to be petite. I also get that sometimes. "Oh I wish I was small like you." I would just smile. My older sister and I and our parents, went out for lunch on her 18th birthday. We ate and it was nice . Then when the waiter handed our parents a bill they handed me a sucker. Then she reached into her pocket, grabbing a second one and handed it to my 18 year old sister. Right then she stopped talking and froze when the waiter walked away. She smiled and shook her head and we all begun to laugh. I don't mind being short as much as the "I bet I can guess your age" game at grocery stores.
On time I was with my older sister and her two kids. We were in the car and both of her kids were asleep. I was almost 10 at the time. She really needed to go to the bathroom and we were about an hour from her house and our mom was not home so her house was locked. Therefore, we decided to go to a store. She parked outside the Safeway and said, "I'll be right back." After I could no longer see her a car pulled in next to her car. The lady got out and was talking to her husband. Then she gasped as she saw the two kiddos in the back and me in the front. I was very capable of babysitting but she didn't know because the next thing I knew she was calling  the police. I remember sitting there awkwardly stering as she peered in describing the ages of the kids. She said an infant, (Correct) and an 4 year old (correct) And then she said, "And in the front seat the oldest looks about 5 or 6." ABSALOUTLY WRONG!! I was two months away from 10!  Anyway she was still on the phone when my older sister came back out of the store. The lady started yelling at my sister saying, "I'm on the phone with the police!" And my poor sister had to explain the fact that she just needed to use the bathroom. So the next time you wish to be petite, think about letting your seven year old nice (Going into 2st grade) wear the shirt you wore yesterday.
Anyway the thought and hope Heavenly Father gives us is so special and I hope everyone in the universe gets a chance to know what they value.

Me on any Typical Tuesday

So I totally know what you thinking, at least I think I know what your thinking, maybe not. Anyways I think that your thinking 'why is this blog created or why is it called Typical Tuesday?' Well let me tell you. Its called Typical Tuesday to symbolize that we all have crazy days and typical days. So that maybe when you read my blog you will think that some of the posts as relatable. But not all. One reason why not all of them will be relatable is age. I'm younger than you think. Unless your not thinking what I'm thinking. But if you are than yes.
Anyways , I want everyone out there to know that I am a gymnast. Also I ride motorcycles with my family, ski and hunt/fish, I am gluten intolerant. But most importantly, I am Mormon. For those of you who don't know what a Mormon is or believes, it's a religion. And we believe in god the eternal father and in his son Jesus Christ and in the holy ghost. To brake some myths, we don't ride in horse carriages everywhere we go, where all black all the time or are not allowed to use technology (Obviously). We do not put any statue or picture of some sort, (what some people think are gods) over god. God is a real living person who lives in the celestial kingdom.
Also I want you to know I'm a writer. I have written 2 completed books and am working on two right now. (My books however, are not published or sold. I have the only copies). The two finished are  #1 Lake Babalon. In the book a young girl goes on a trip to Lake Babalon. She was convinced the lake was haunted the first time she went and legend said it was. After failing to get her parents to believe her, one old lady who lives at the lake does. At first the young girl doesn't know the lady until an encounter with the ghost. The ghost even takes her parents captive. And the young girl and the lady have to fight battles for there freedom from the mean habit's and taunting of the ghost.
The other book is called, Ms. Perfect. And it's the diary of an awkward Eighth grader who faces the challenges of any average teenager. She is an only child who lost her dad in a car accident. She has the meanest math teacher in the whole school and is convinced her life is worthless to make matters worse she isn't allowed to date and everyone around her is. Her best friend even gets a date. But through the loving guidance of her mom, she makes it through.
One of the books I am currently writing is called, Wishtani. Its about a fourth grader who does some not so good things in her class at school but she soon discovers she has a power that she has never knew about. Whatever she wishes, comes true.
The last book I'm currently writing is about a Mormon teenager who moves from her Mormon population in Utah, to Florida. when she finally meets knew friends and they discover her religion the bully her and make her uncomfortable. But, she strives to stand tall and walk by faith.
